Terms of Service

Last updated September 25, 2026

These terms apply when you use our website or book services from Lockwood IT Services (“we,” “us”) in Crossett, Arkansas. By booking or using our services, you agree to them.

1. How our service works

  1. Book: you schedule a remote or on-site appointment.
  2. We check it out: we look into the problem.
  3. You approve a quote: we tell you the price before doing the work.
  4. We do the work: once you agree to the quote and pay, we perform the service.

We will not begin paid work without your approval of the quoted price. If the job turns out to need more than quoted, we will ask before going further.

2. Pricing and payment

  • Current prices are listed on our Services & Pricing pages and may change; the price you approve in your quote is the price you pay.
  • Flat-rate services are charged at the listed price. Hourly services are billed as described on the pricing page (including any minimums and billing increments).
  • Payment is due before or at the time service is performed, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Payments are processed through Square.
  • Hardware, software licenses, and parts are not included unless stated and are billed separately with your approval.
  • Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

3. No fix, no fee

If we can’t solve the problem you booked us for, you don’t pay for that service. This does not cover costs you approved separately, such as parts or software you asked us to purchase.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Authorization: you confirm that you own the devices and accounts we work on, or have permission to let us access them.
  • Backups: computer repair carries some risk. Please keep backups of important data. We take care to protect your files, but we are not responsible for data loss that a current backup would have prevented.
  • Accurate information: please describe the problem honestly and tell us about anything that could affect the work.
  • Software licenses: you are responsible for having valid licenses for software on your devices.

5. Remote access

For remote sessions, you give us temporary access to your device, which you can end at any time. We only connect for sessions you have booked or requested. We access only what is needed to do the work, we do not record sessions or copy your data without your permission, and any screenshots are limited to errors or issues. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Business services

Managed support plans and other ongoing business services may be covered by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the separate agreement controls.

7. Limitation of liability

We perform our work with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost data, lost profits, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under Arkansas law.

8. Website

Information on our website, including blog posts, is general in nature and provided as-is. The troubleshooter offers suggestions only and is not a diagnosis.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date shows when. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas.
